AS 2890

Parking Facilities

Bay layouts, space dimensions, aisle widths accessible bay placement, while stops, speed humps, bollards, and signage. The primary standard governing industrial car park design and installation. BSP delivers every elements to AS 2890 dimensions, documented and sinned of on the ITP

BSP Compliance Deliverables

Bay layout to AS 2890.1 minimum dimensions — confirmed on ITP before handover.

Accessible bay count, dimensions and placement to AS 2890.6.

Line marking dimensions, arrow placement, bay numbering and kerb clearances verified.

Wheel stop placement and type confirmed to AS 2890.1.

Signage to AS 2890.1 and AS 2890.6 — accessible parking signage confirmed.

Access and Mobility

Accessible bay dimensions, TGSI placement at hazard points, and accessible pathway confirmation. Compliance documented and signed off. referenced under AS 1428.1 and AS 1428.4.1

Installation method documented — fixing type, substrate preparation and adhesion.

NCC-compliant stair nosing sign-off included on ITP at practical completion.
